I can't see how it would work on a fresh fish as the bones tend to be firmly attached to the flesh. Maybe on a half rotten one..... or a baked one.

Luckily I have heard of this boner you are refering to. Can't figure out how it takes out all them bones. You damn near need vice grips to pull all the secondary ribs out of a salmon, but somehow you can "Boner" them out.

Although I bet all the top chef's use them...

Just walk up to the male clerk in your local sporting goods store and ask if if he has a "Boner" but be prepared to duck!! LOL :mrgreen:

said only works on fish up tp 3 lbs..
think it would be messy and only work on certain fish ...........maybe..........lol
