I've heard some have entered the campbell river. If so, there are not many yet. certainly not like last year.

I was fishing the south arm of the Fraser this afternoon. One boat at the dock had 13 pinks in the boat. Caught them of the Sand heads. If they're there, they've already past CR!!!

Different fish, Steelco. There's a massive run predicted for the Fraser, but many coastal streams in southern waters will have pink runs this year, including the Campbell and the Oyster.

pink fishing off the shore has been slow this year so far in campbell river. nothing like last year, although they are catching lots from a boat in browns bay. might be late as la nino , ocean temperatures, and poor spring and summer weather conditions. generally had success on shore previous years , when high tides correlate with early morning and evening times, which was early august. might take the kids down tonight to give it a shot
