pinks around campbell river

anybody fishing the river or the beaches around campbell river. i havent had time to go out yet. heard there was a few in the river. :-D

Erik has been out a couple of times but hasn't caught anything yet. He also said he hadn't seen anyone else catch anything either. He just picked up a fly rod yesterday and wants some lessons now. Maybe I'll take them with him.

Trolling off of sooke we got two yesterday and they were tasty!

Come on Shawn, we dont like pinks!!!! Karakai and I were out yesterday and I was out of Peddder on Saterday. I fed 5 packs of anchovies to those little slimmy bastered and only caught 1-25lb, and 1-18lb, spring. Those things are a slimmy waste of my Bate!!!!!!!!And expensive too..

john you have to try them off the beach with a fly rod its awesome. besides what are you and karakai trolling around for minnows for you should be hitting the west coast lol. say hi to that grey haired bugger for me.

Was talking to a guy today who said he had been out since 12:30 (was 5:30 at the time) and he had only caught 2 pinks, and they were heading straight up the river.

Saw half a dozen pinks caught at Nile Cr on the high tide a couple nights ago.
