Boat Cover Zippers

Help Please
Recently I tried to attatch the back cover to the front cover on my boat, the nylon zipper works ok meaning it slids back and forth with little or no trouble, the problem is the nylon teeth do not lock together:evil: WTF.
can some one help me out with this problem is there a trick ? or do I have to buy new friggen zippers.

Try lubing them up with chapstick. It works great on the zippers on my jeep soft top. If you don't they are a real bitch to get to work right.
