Huh... kinda neat in a way because its so different, but is it effective?? I dont think I would want to put that wad through my WW choke though...

I hope this doesnt have the same effect Blackcloud does... down in the public marshes these things are everywhere as some people think they can now sky bust ducks at 70 yards and see them fall, when the outcome really is a bunch of wounded decoy-shy birds.

In my opinion (everyone has a different one) your choke has much more effect on steel shot than super pellets and wads. In the end, all of these pellets are still made of steel... and for anyone who took grade 11 physics, force is directly related upon velocity and mass. That formula works for each INDIVIDUAL pellet. The faster you can throw a heavy object, the greater the force on impact.... You put many of these fast pellets on target... aka pattering.... you get a downed bird. simple as that........... speed x mass = killing power. SO the reason these shells just may work is because of each individual pellets mass, as cube objects have more mass than sherical objects of the same diameter. Throw the heavier mass of each individual pellet at 1400 fps, and that sounds pretty good.

I think they have to put these wacko wads in there though because square pellets probably scatter like hell with a regular wad. :)

I was at the Ottawa DOD Tradeshow a few weeks back and got to handle and hold all of Berretta's new weapons. There was some pieces there that would do some serious damage to those ducks :)

While interesting, I guess I will stick with Kents. I prefer the adage that Speed kills...

A couple less pellets hitting at 1550 fps, in my opinion will have more impact than a few extra pellets at 1400 fps.

pattern the shotgun and then shoot at things in range and problems solved...

Extreme 2 3-1/2"

Also load Steel up to 1800 fps. Yes less pellet's.

I wonder what the price difference is to other steal shot shells. I plan and simple have my off days and can be a real crapy shot and rack up the dollars, but all in good fun of course.

Come on now, we all know those are called multi-plex shells, although I prefer "spectrum shells" and you can't kill anything with them!

I tried Black Cloud so I'll probably try this as well who knows maybe the "magic bullet" but Iwill go in with the attitude its like an election you can't bitch if ou don't vote and hopefully I'll be proved wrong. I kinda figure that I'll end up shooting my Remington 1550s again next year tho.

Same as Foxton Gundogs. I'll try them with a open mind this season and see. I am sold on Blackcloud for geese at 30, 40 yards. Closer than 30 their too dam tight a pattern.

Doesn't everyone need a new Beretta? I have one picked out but lack the $$$ to make the dream a reality.

Tony those must work fine with those big slow park honkers on the island, dont have to lead em much. Just point and pull the trigger. white bread helps.

But over here, with WILD geese, the extra speed helps......hahahaha

Are you seeing many out there Adam? It's eerily quiet around here, and the peas are all off. The first bunch showed up in the field that I've pegged for the opener but I expected a lot more by now. K

I think corn wont be off in the valley till december its so short. Its either that or all the corn will be 5 feet tall with a cob. Been one wierd spring/summer.
