So are all the opening day keeners ready to go? Have all the months of training paid off? Or are you going to get in shape while you hunt, go in fat and come out fit kinda thing...?

I don't know about sheep , but yeah I've been hitting the gym {for 5 years} . Hopefully all the hiking has me in shape for killing season , I just hope I've done enough scouting {probly not}

Yeah I would think that would help. Unless it was in the form of your lower leg or something...

I haven't trained one bit I have the 1st and the 2nd off of work for my schedule so I'm thinking of hiking in a few days before the season and try my luck at a one day sheep hunt. ha ha I don't know if it will be worth the driving and hiking, I'm still thinking about it, I might be really sore when I get back to work or I'll be kicking myself for not going.

I'm also considerably slimmer than I used to be, although I am still no lightweight. :)

I am wearing clothes that I haven't' been able to put on for 2 years though, so that says something.

Unfortunately no sheep season for me this year. I'm having surgery on July 26 :(

Let's hope the surgery will lead to some more comfortable hunts. Good luck on the 26th.
