Newbie bag limit question

I looked in the regs, but couldnt find a clear answer, so bear with me.

bag limit for bucks on vancouver island, M.U. 1-7, is two.
So is does that mean you can only shoot two deer per season or you can only have two in your possesion? So for example, if i shot a buck on monday, and one on tuesday, if i wanted to shoot one on wednesday, id either have to eat a whole deer or give it away? And how long could i do this for? Like is there a season limit for deer?

That is your bag limit for the entire season for that MU, not for possession. There is also a bag limit for the province which you need to read about as well.

The CORE instructor should have gone over the regs thoroughly with you...

Bag Limit is a season limit. You can shoot them in the first 10 seconds of the season if you want, but once it's over, it's over. There are regional and Provincial limits - some MUs only allow one deer, and some allow two. The aggregate total might be three, but you are not allowed to shoot them in the same region. The regs are quite clear about it. Do not read into the regs and interpret it how you like, it is not like a religious text in that manner.
