Going in with a buddy who got the draw. just curious how the access is. If its worth to haul a quad in or hike in from the road . Rob

You don't need really need a quad for 435b as the area has lots of road access. If your comming at the very end off the season then you will want 4 v-bar tire chains or a quad.

I've heard moose creek holds some goats, in 4-35a. Know your maps, as you are hunting right on a park boundary.

Also, look up goat survey for 4:35. Interesting info in it

Moose creek in 435a is also closed to motor vehicles while hunting so plan on walking or riding your bike about 6km before you start hiking.

Awesome guys; any rams in that area

There are sheep in 4-35B, mostly in the southern end, none in 4-35A.

Thanks 6616; according to the survey 80 sheep live in the southern part of 4 35 b not sure how many class IV rams there would be but i imagine a couple crankers are hiding out

There are a few legal rams but crankers are rare, it's a pretty heavily hunted herd and highway mortality is excessive. If you happen to be around Radium in the winter go to the Riverside golf course and you can see them close up.

If I was going to hunt goats in 4-35B from the valley side I would head up Beard Creek or Hogranch Creek at Parson, or go up Frazier Creek from the Beaverfoot side. If I was going to hunt goats in 4-35A I would go up Paul Creek.

Last goat survey I can find is from 2006. Is this the latest?
