Hey me and my friend both just got the draw for grizzly in zone 5-9A. I was wondering if anyone would be able to share any info on this area or tips on how to go about it? We know we need a boat and we have one but other then that any info would be greatly appreciated

why do you need a boat. Man there are lots of bears that you can walk to. what area are you hunting. I live in Bella Coola and I work at Hagensborg store.

That's because 5-9A is not Bella Coola, it is the North side of Dean Channel which is a bit of a swim ;)
The valley is 5-8 C
Welcome to the site BTW

That is a comment! LOL
I had a buddy that had that draw a few years ago, they brought a 29' cabin cruiser boat, but they didnt make the journey, they figured they didnt have enough fuel for the journey and turned back???

I had everything planned but when it got closer money became hard to come by so I guess I saved a G-bear this year!! Might fly in there this year with my brother to the airstrip at the eastern most part of the channel.
