It's been a while since I posted any photos here, so my apologies if I mess this up. I set up a couple trail cams 10 days ago near my cabin. Managed to get a couple pics of a decent muley and a small bull moose, but imagine my surprise when the next pic was of two wolves! I'll be looking for them this fall...can't have them cleaning out one of my favourite hunting areas.

Cool picture. Though, not really something you want to see to many of in your hunting area! Glad they weren't in "Our" zone.

Are my eyes failing me or is the larger wolf wearing a collar?

NICE! Makes it all worthwhile buying a camera and taking the time to put it up. I've had nothing but problems with my game cams.....blurry, wind moving grass or branches thus tripping the mechanism, flash not working at night.....I only got one photo of game last year and it was not a good one.

I saw the collar too, must be in Clearwater there studying the wolf there for the boo numbers. Sounds like another Clearwater area hunter for moose and mules.
Up the Clearwater River nice for mules and moose.
Jp .. More Gunz

Jelly u don't think wolves move around?
They were made with 4 legs to follow the game so what makes u think
Clearwater first?

This wasn't taken up at Clearwater - much closer to Kamloops. Here's a second picture - does look like there's a collar.

Here's one of the buck pics I was able to get. Unfortunately the quality leaves something to be desired.

Here's a photo of a doe and fawn that I managed to get on another camera:

I just figured out it was a buck! Great pics in your area, I especially love the fawn pic. I am supposing this is a tasco camera? Would you recommend it? Or are many of the pictures like the buck? Also, what do you think caused the blurriness?

The Tasco 3 MP is pretty good for the price - only $50 at wal-mart in the states. The other pictures were taken with a 2 MP EZ-Cam (I bought 2 of those at Canadian Tire a few weeks ago when they had a sale on). Neither camera takes great pictures at dawn, dusk, or night. The buck photo is particularly bad because he was a fair ways away from the camera. As a result I had to blow up and crop the photo to post it, which makes it quite pixelated and blurry.

Prolly Patrick Lake area or up Powder area then but could be up the barriere river towards moose heaven but no closer cuz I seen wolves up Jamieson and they were way better looking, like big huskies and blond lab. those are terrible looking, like big bad wolves.
Anyways you keep your secrets lol one more Darlington, or Thuya lol, or or lol, up fadear creek lol, Leonnie creek lol.
Jel .. haha got yah covered, what gave it away was the greened over burn from the 2003 era lol. Up the Bonaparte via Peterson Creek Gorman lake lol...zeroing inonaspot

I've got a couple tasco cameras and I'd recommend them! less than a hundred bucks, I won't feel so bad if they get ripped off. Unfortunately when my computer crashed I lost all my pictures but a couple, but I can say I am very pleased, the movie quality is good too!

As an added bonus they have a built in deer magnet!

although the Tasco 5mp suck compared to top quality models out today, they're inexpensive and work pretty good. Definetely as good or better than top end models from 3-4 yrs ago that sold for $400 and sucked through D batteries!

They've had wolves collared in Valemount and then killed in Cache Creek, so yup they can make some big moves.

steveo32,
You should post up the 2 trail cam pics you got this winter. Sasquatch followed by a long tailed critter ;)
