This is the start of my scouting footage and trail cam pictures for the year of 2011 hope you all will enjoy the pictures and videos I will be putting up on this thread in the next 5 months I still have about 30 clips to up load on you tube when I do get them loaded I will put them up on this thread there is some good elk footage and one bull is already a 6x6 :) :-D..

I ranged these two bulls 5x5 & 6x6 with these 3 cows they where out 46 yards I could have taken ether one with my cross bow if it where in the bow season but I would have to pass on ether they are not the bulls I am looking for....

These elk could smell me but they could not see me this went on for 20 min or so before they decided to exit.

do you expect to see these elk in the same area's come season? I am seeing elk now but an worried they will move to different area's when its hunting season

You can find elk anywhere in the EK low or hi ,I filmed these bulls and cows at an elevation of 5,700 feet this elevation is 2,500 feet feet higher then Cranbrook and where I filmed the elk its is hi for the area they are in hope this helps you out for the future if you plan on hunting these beautiful animals...

Berry I will be checking my trail cams this Sunday it will be 7 days this Sunday from when I put the trails out I to do hope I have something interesting on them ,will see come Sunday ???? maybe a Grizz ???? if I have some good pictures from the trail cams I will post them up so all can see.

I checked out a new area this weekend this mule deer was shot with the camera on Sat July 16th elevation 6,500 feet he was 40 yards from me and deekes 1989 this mule deers antler growth still has 3 weeks of growing left to do..

All I do is try and that is what I do I am so turned upside down right now with things to do I don't know weather I am coming or going where ever that is :? ??? :mrgreen:.

Headed back into the bush for a few days 10 days from now in order to put out more salt and feed as for to check the trail cams I also have to put out my seventh trail cam I just got it will be on video set up..

Im pretty sure he would be buying them from Top Crop here in town. I am buying the same bags and that is where I get them from. 50lbs for 9 bucks or something like that. I guess any farm/ranch supply store would sell it.

I had over 6000 trail cam pictures on my 6 trail cams I only showed a few of what was there I have finished loading up the links and trail cam pictures from my last outing :).

Me and deeks1989 limed the trees by the trail cams at about 18 feet up in order to have this done well before the opening of Sept first its good to have this completed well before the opener of the season.

I have the lowest one at 4,500 feet and they vary from there to 6000 feet.

Great video clips Wayne and I love the trail cam pics. Some nice whitey bucks and a real nice 6pt bull in the night shot you got. Looks like a collar on one of the cows in the pic with seven elk. No! Spike elk can have no bony projections > 1 inch. 2X1 does not qualify.

My friends 6x6 Sept first 2011 ,I video clipped this bull in bow season for 30 min it was not the bull I was looking for so I told my friend where he was and he got him opening day on rifle season...

A few trail pictures the bucks have not been moving much in the last two weeks but in a few weeks all hell is going to break loose ,I have had very few animals on my trail cams in the past two Weeks compared to a month ago when I used to get up to 3000 pictures in two weeks with 7 trail cams out now for the same time only 80 pictures with 7 trail cams out ,I have let a few 120 to 130 Wt bucks walk in the past few days there not the ones I am looking for ,my camp friends that came in for the weekend got there WT bucks both being 5x4 they are respectable bucks in the 125 range ,the top picture of the WT on this new post is the one I am looking for my guess is he will score around 135+ ,a few links to follow when I get them loaded up on You Tube.

It sure is hard not to pull the trigger on some of these WT bucks I am seeing ,I never have been a selective hunter in all my hunting years until last year.
If I shoot a smaller buck then I won't be able to get this big one I am after and If I don't get the big guy then I will have eat my tag LOL ,It sure is very lonely out there by myself no fun without having friends in camp ,hopefully next year I will have a friend to hunt with me in Nov ??? ,Got out of the bush yesterday afternoon headed back into the bush this morning to try and get that big WT buck here are a few more pictures and clips..
