Mule Deer Rut 6-04

As the title says when do you think the mulies start to rut in 6-04. I am thinking of going back up to the cabin on Nov.7 and hunting till the 15th. Do you think they close it at that time to protect the rut or would it be happening then, thanks for any info.:mrgreen:

probably around halloween like the rest of BC, really heating up Nov 10 and probably peaking the 17-22nd

I dont understand why they close the 15th, some areas of 7A is like that too now :evil:

i was thinking from a few sudjestions to camp near the kenny dam and work my way west to st marys pit road with so may lakes surounding the area almost looks like a island but its going to be my buddys call finaly where we go hes hunted the area for years and i just found out that hes got the same LEH that i do

I live a stones throw from 6-4 and have been hunting the late season for mulies there for quite a few years. My dad and his brothers took some cranker bucks around Francois in the 70's and 80's.

The rut definitely peaks after the season closes, but hunting the last week like you have planned is always very good.

North of francois is loaded in mulies watch privat land bring a bow there are some bruiser in there.
