Hey all planning on a trip up to Egmont family, friends and kids. Been reading up on some fishing location along the coast there and kinda get the areas to try.

However I keep on coming across a reference to "A-Frame" and I can't make heads or tail to what this refers to or where it is other than it was a structure that has been demoed(?). Is this an exact location? or is this refering to the Agamemnon Channel? If it is, is it north (Egmont side) or south side (Madeira/Pender).

Thanks any info you could provide, it is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Matt

That's all I could gather as well. It was such a big land mark for sport fishermen on coast.

There was a concrete marker that toppled over near the south tip of Texada,
but that's not even close to Egmont, however maybe that's what they talk about.
We were up there last week, only got some spot prawns, didn't get lucky catching any fish but some other guys did.

The a-frame is on the south side of the Agamemnon Channel aprox 1 mile up, I personaly like to fish Anderson Bay on the south end of Texada.

Just curious - when you say "south", do you mean "east" or "west"? The channel runs almost directly north-south at the Pender Harbour end so there is no "south" side.

Thanks all for narrowing down were the A-frame is. Basically it's in the area where Sakinaw Lake meets the Agememnon Channel.
