I just talked to a buddy that came down yesterday, and it's getting pretty bony up there now, compared to a couple weeks ago when I was up. Sounds like the bigger boats are going to be in for a rough season:lol: .
The leaves are already starting to get pretty yellow on the trees, but it's still hot out, even at night. Made a few calls to guys that have coolers, and they are starting to fill up with Moose, not too many Elk yet. Just drove down to the Nelson River a few minutes ago, and I would say that it's a good 3ft lower than normal for this time of year.
Have not heard of anyone attempting to run the Gato in the last couple weeks, might be a good reason for that.
