Just for info purposes.....because im always wondering if someone has been to an area, the snowline today in the Monashees Northeast of Cherryville was at 5700 feet. I snowshoed in to 8100 feet and saw not a lick of sign of a living creature above 5500. Saw several bucks around 4900 feet. Just in case anyone was thinking of preseason scouting, still 3-5 feet of snow above 6000.

Staal,

Any pics from your expedition?
How are the wildflowers this year? Did you notice any berries starting below treeline?

Ya lots of Pics. I will post some up later. No berries and no flowers at all. Theres no exposed meadow yet...even in the open above 6000 feet. The southfacing slides were starting to green up. Looked like grizzly heaven. No bears to be seen though.
