Hi guys

I have been looking around online at buying some flies - does anyone have a reccomended seller/website to use? I would like best value - dont mind spending a bit more if the quality is there (good value) but dont need super high end either.

Thanks for the help.

Before I started tying my own I broke the tip on my fly rod and ordered another one with some flys from mudhole.com they have some good prices. Shipping was cheap as eveything is small and light.

A great friend of mine in Smithers makes flies and sells online! Whatever you want to fish from Halibut to Cutthroats. He ties some up for me that I use for Lake trout.

You should check him out... You can find his site if you google Webflyz.

check out umpqua flies, best production flies imo but they are pretty pricey.

I've gotten a couple of really good deals on ebay. Some of the regular sellers tie nice flies and are very well priced.

Go to eBay and look for a seller called Kootenay Lifestyles. I've bought probably 300 flies from him. Excellent quality. Long lasting. Great prices as well.

Never considered buying on-line until this thread came up, just made or bought local.
Googled 'fishing flies in BC' and found several sites.

This site was passed on to me and they are great to deal with.

Canadian company with a great selection and good quality flies. Plus free shipping over $60.

Thanks for all of the suggestions certainly lots to choose from. Looks like I am either going to try kootenay lifestyles or reelflies.ca as both look quality and the price is right.

Nothing better than catching fish on flies you tied yourself.

Absolutely agree with Huntcoop. Just like shooting an animal with bullets you reloaded yourself.
