Kermode bear pics

Took these photos in 2008 but have never bothered to post them. This bear was near Lava lake in the Nass valley, notice the yellow tag in it's right ear did not notice it till I got home that night.

It's a Spirit Bear, they don't attack humans, they just give out hugs!!!:twisted:

Dat might have been the bear that TSW and I were looking at up high in the slides that spring while gbear hunting. Given past history around these parts he was a lot safer up high than he was hanging out along the road!

Was about 30-40 feet away for a good 1/2 hour :) was really pumped to see it so close.

They sure are beautiful animals too bad there is all the political b.s. that goes with them, its not the bears fault though.
