Well you guys won't like this but I am looking for my cat she went missing on Tuesday and ive talked to a guy who says if she is alive he and his dogs could find her but he wants 300$ I've got a 100$ reward that woul be all I can afford. I miss her alot and sure you guy understand what it's like to lose a pet.
Could someone get in touch with me that has a hound that could track or knows someone that could.
I'll pay for the gas to come to me I'm in burnaby (marine drive area) PM or post a comment.
She went missing on Tuesday and I'm hopin that the coyotes haven't gotten her.
She has been raised around german shepards and rotteilers so I'm hopig she could keep the yotes in their place.

Did you have a chance to check with your local SPCA?? I know coyotes come to mind right away, but it might be not as bad as that. I hope you find your cat. Best of luck to you as well.

Can you post a pic of your cat? Maybe someone will recognize her. Shoot any yotes yet?

A hound will not do you any good. If the hounds like house cats that much they will find a lot fresher track to run then that one. No hound I know will run a track that old. I think you where just getting lip service.
Good luck on your cat.

Livewire322. Maybe a thought but maybe someone in your neighbour hood may of taken your cat as a pet for themselves. Did you put up posters in your neighbourhood?

Over 150 posters we've talked to everyone but trust me my cat is a beastly animal she was a barn cat and if someone had her shed wreck the house. It's nearly impossible to keep her inside. We just moved so I think she might be heading that way maybe.

how long ago did you move? I know my friend had to keep their cat inside for 30 days or a few weeks at least when they moved if not the cat still thinks your old house is "home base".

We moved at the beginning of the month and we let her outside on a harness. I escorted a lady friend home one night after a party and she let the cat out in the wee hours of the morning and she still came home. She was outside on the harness for a few times and there was no problem with hawks. Then after a week we let her out off of the harness and she didn't go very far just stuck to the fence line.
On Tuesday she ran out between my legs and I thought I should get her but I didn't and I proceeded to cook lunch. My friend called me up to hang out and he and I love guns so naturally I needed ammo (I didn't really but I wanted some) so we drove down to reliable gun. Wasn't even gone for an hour and 45 came back by like 2:00pm put the 7.62x39 ammo into stripper clips. Went outside called the cat no response thought it was weird. Mom came home at like 4:00 wasn't worried so neither was I. 6:00 mom goes to Canadian tire to buy me a machete to hack down the stinging nettles. To walk the fence line. 7:00 really worried. 8:30 back in the forest chopping a 50' long trail right into the darkness. Sometime later my mom is at the SPCA which wasn't opened. I hear lone coyote howling for a good 30 in bursts. Head off with knife flash light and machete to kill the mother****er. Then I cried myself to sleep because I feel lost without my best friend (marmalaide).

So the mortal of the story is I don't know if she would have came back and I wasn't there and she went back to the old place. 1.41 miles as the crow flies through coyotes infested territory, and green belts.

Livewire322 Marmalaide maybe shes in heat and just hanging out. But if she was a barn cat hopefully shell be okay. Maybe just walk the 1.41 miles and shake some cat food and call her name. The best of luck to you.

Livewire322 Did you find your cat? I was thinking do you live by any warehouses. At my work there is usually 1 cat that hangs around. Just a suggestion maybe your cat might be hiding out at warehouses. If your cat likes catching mice or rats. Thats a place to consider.
