Our hunting group have a shared moose draw in 7-25. I was wondering about the resorts on Tezzeron lake. What are they like, Price etc.? Also is this a good area to stay and hunt, or would we be better off further south, near Ft. St. James area. I know there are lots of camping areas, but due to medical problems I have, its easier for me to stay in a resort kinda place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

If you have to stay in a place, stay in town and hunt around it, lots of good country to hunt 1/2 hour from town.

PM me if you want more info.

Wasn't Cinnabar Lodge/Cabins (?) on Tezzeron Lake? They offered very rustic cabins at a decent price...about 15 years ago.

I believe it is now owned by the John Prince Research Forest (UNBC) and is now called the Cinnabar Research Station. Rustic cabins but I don't think they rent them to the public anymore, could be wrong though? They are listed in the yellow pages online, might be worth a call if the line is still active.
