Hi all
Pulled a goat tag for 5-04J. Taseko lake SE.
Trying to determine access. Area is closed to ATV/snowmobile.
Looks like the trail past the lodge has some good size creek crossings.
Looking to launch 16' boat at north end and haul camp and peddle bikes to southern tip. Or can we get our trucks down there? Full size diesels are no fun getting stuck. The regs say no ATV, but am I allowed to access via my old yamaha xt225 that is plated and insured.
The country looks awesome up there, can't wait.
Last year they allocated 20 LEH goat hunts down there at pretty good odds. Is this because of a healthy goat population or because of a very tough hunt with low success rate?
Any help is much appreciated.
