As all ready posted, punch in Bison or Buffalo in the search box and you'll get all the info you'll need from the good folks on HBC!!! Take lots of pics, write a real long story of the Hunt, and don't give up until you've got a Buffalo on the ground!!! Good Luck!!!

its going to be good. There are lots of them. Bring a big gun, with powerful bullets. This tag is a good excuse for buying a big bore rifle. I know there are lots of vehicle restrictions.

All I can say is pray for a big dump of snow, being able to use snow machines is a huge advantage over quads

It's a good time to go, cool in the mornings/evenings, warm in the day. ALWAYS the chance of snow, but probably not a lot. Rivers are down a bit, as well as the bugs. Basically, you should have everything you need to survive in temps ranging from +25 down to -35........Layers work well.
Some gun lubes get sticky in the cold, if you are wondering about yours, throw your rifle in the freezer over night, and try cycling the action the next day, just to check. A Butane "Micro-torch" works awesome to get a fire going when your hands are cold. Warm Boots, Warm Boots, Warm Boots.

I did well in that area in 2007 nov 5-19th. I got a huge bull on the 11th. Guess what I got the same draw this year :)

I won this draw in 2007 and was successful in harvesting a bull. I didn't even spend any time scouting before entering! It is a blast. We are going again this year for the same time and area as you. I was up there in 2004. I can't remember the date but think it may have been late november or early december. Stayed at Pink Mountain ranch.

go there as early as you can on the draw time ,the herd always hide deep enough after some shots raise ,i think you do not want hiking some kilometers to pull a huge dead bull out!
