Any advise for Oct 1 to 15 7-57a Bison Draw

My friends 15 year old son got this draw and there is a god cause they asked me to go with them so if anyone has any info or advise on this hunt it would help very much. The young fellow just got his liscence this spring so what a hell of a first hunt. I sure hope Bison taste better than the tag soup I've been eating.
