for anyone else who has a sept bull draw, ive never hunted this area and would like to go with someone who has, and someone to go 50 50 on fuel costs and what not. pm me if you have any information on hunting this area. thanks!

Maybe try to find someone who is a hardcore hiker/explorer and doesn't mind if you hunt. Lots of nice country to see and it broadens your pool of possible partners. A trip like that has a high risk of crankiness with someone you don't know.

I just got back from there. Get ready for a $1800 flight and a 1650km trip from Vancouver. Did see lots of Caribou right around coldfish lake though.

late september draw.

yea i didnt really research the area before i put in the tag. i know there are lots of caribou, but i am hearing that you have to either float plane in or use horses. im geussing quads or hiking is out of the picture. does anyone have any other information?

thanks for everyone who replied btw

it's a realiy tough hunt,go there 5 years ago, only one fsr drive in.you need spend lots of time hiking to close the herd and if lucky enough you will not forgetting the pack out trip.

I've got the early draw in Sept. I will pass on what I find out. My buddy that lives in the area says "good boots, good optics-good chance of filling yer tag"
