Region 6 Regs Clarification Question

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot but here it goes. I have a possibly dumb question about White tail deer hunts in Region 6. In the regs page 66(Printed version) or page 86 (online pdf) the Open season for White tails is listed 6-1 to 6-11 but its in green text. Listed here:


WHITE-TAILED DEER 6-1 to 6-11, 6-14, 6-15, 6-30 Bucks Sept 10 - Nov 30
Youth Only Season* 6-1 to 6-11, 6-14, 6-15, 6-30 Bucks Sept 1 – Sept 9

Right below that is the youth season listed, which is also listed in green text. Now, How I interpret it is that White tails are open for all in 6-1 to 6-11 from Sept 10 to Nov 30 with a youth only season from Sept 1 to Sept 9th.

However, one of my friends was trying to tell me that because the 6-1 to 6-11 in the first first line was shown in green that it means that its a youth season only in those regions.

Doesnt the green mean that its just new or has been changed this year?

If anyone can give me some clarification that would be great.

you are 100% correct. youth only is sept 1-9th, then its open to all

Correct you are highlighted in green means it's a new opening!!

Green means its achange to the regs from last year.

If you look it up on the web you will see some in red which means its a correction or change thats been made since the book was printed.
