i know that it is probably rare due to a past visit to reifel in march which i only saw white geese. i know that they are becoming increasingly common along the central flyways but i have never seen let alone heard of blue geese that migrate along our coastal flyway? have you ever shot one let alone see one?

Seen a couple that a friend took a picture of from this past season . Very rare for this coast thats for sure. A know a few get killed down the coast every year but they're definitely a trophy bird. Cali probably shoots the most a year becuase of the amount of birds and hunters there.

I just searched a bit and found some old info in the mid 70s one season in California they found 12 blues in 60000 lesser snows, and 3 blue ross in 38000. I think that number has gone up quite some in the past years

I've got pictures of a Blue from a few years back in a school field in Richmond. First time I've seen one.

Here's my buddies photo he got last season. There was 2 matures and 2 juvies if I remember correctly but theres a mature and two juvies in the picture. A nice eagle headed blue would sure be a trophy.
