Down with the bruins.....Go Canucks

Well last weekend of spring bear I decided to head out to my old stomping grounds on the Sunshine coast with Dutchie and his dad. Hunted all day Sat and we saw 13 bears and a few deer. We shot 2 bears.

Its not my biggest over there but just under 6ft and as it was my last chance to get out I let my .338WM show him whos boss.

So we did our part......2 bruins down and out.....lets hope the Canucks can do the same tonight to theirs

Special thanks to Steeleco for letting us show up at his place for a butchering session.....and again for Dutchie and family for letting me take up space in their truck to get over there and for their help in the butchering.

Well the photos I took were horrible... Maybe I should have let Elkhound take the pictures becasue he is clearly better then myself.

it looks smaller then Elkhounds but it is actually a little bigger... the Head was alot smaller than elkhounds bear but the length was longer and the bear was a little larger.

the hunting was awesome... Sunshine Coast is a nice area, and there are great people that are around there!

We could have all filled our tags 3 times over but the hunting was unforgetable. the terrain was great, very little pressure, and perfect weather. Not to mention the loudest stalk ever... and we still got within 60 feet to the biggest bear I have ever seen.

Memories of the hunting is going to last forever and that is what it is about!

Nice looking bears guys I really like the muzzle colour and the dots over the eyes of the first one. It reminds me of some hounds i have seen. Great bears thanks for posting.
