Hello all, I'm new to the area and wondering if anyone can point me in a direction near new hazelton to hunt mule deer or white tail. I've done some exploring but I haven't found much for log cuts or areas accessible for hiking. there are roads everywhere, but once again i couldn't find anything huntable. any tips would be appreciated.

cheers, Keith

Deer hunting isn't so hot around Hazelton. It gets better the further east you head....Telkwa eastward. Lot's of moose around up here, same with bears.

I'm not sure of the name of the hill. But it is directly North of Harold Price Creek on the north side of the Suskwa. You access it from Denison main off of the Suskwa main.Cheack it out on google earth you can see all the open south face slope. It is good for mule deer and moose. Also Tenas Hill in the Kispiox Valley is good if you can get the access to it. Good luck those are both great spots.
