On Friday I decided to go look for a bear, and firewood. To make a short story out of it....Found firewood, and shot a bear. Nice Boar, beautiful fur on him. He is a touch over 5ft, has a couple battle scars on his nose, and great teeth. I caped him out, and deboned him.

I shot him with my 7mm with 175gr Federal Power Shok. The shot was about 40m.

Shot Placement was front quartering towards. In the left side neck, out right side shoulder. He went down instantly and never moved again.

This is my first animal with my 7rm, and am quite impressed with it.
