What reigon is the best sheep hunting if a person had the special sheep draw ?

most guys go to the kootenays after a big rocky, but I know of at least one guy who took a big cali out of kamloops lake with the draw. Havent heard of anyone shooting a dall or stone with that permit.

I havent got it i just bought 1500.00 worth of tags and thats why i live in the north so i dont know anything about down south thanks guys

I would not be huntng for stones that's for sure especially when you live up here. I would go kamloops lake if it was me for fist choice and rockies for second. Dall is a tough hunt for a big one just because they can be few and far between.

What do you want to kill?? With the seasons they give you should be able to kill a big one of whatever you want. Well getting a big Dall might be tough this year as the results will come out just before the season. In a regular year you could go chase dalls two weeks before anyone else. You also chase stones a month after the regular season.

If you want to shoot a cali then kamloops lake is the place. For rockies, the kootenays are the place to be.

Like I said it depends what you want to kill. Well I guess it's a moot point as I am the one winning the tag:):)

If I got that tag, I would be going for a Bighorn, Not sure which one I would choose, Cali or Rocky. At this point in time I would choose Cali as I love the country they live in.
