so my dad ''willyqbc'' finaly signed me up. im 11 years old and i love to hunt and fish. i also love to shoot 3D. i heard that you are supposed to tell a joke so here it goes

Two men went bear hunting. While one stayed in the cabin, the other went out looking for a bear. He soon found a huge bear, shot at it but only wounded it.

The enraged bear charged toward him, he dropped his rifle and started running for the cabin as fast as he could. He ran pretty fast but the bear was just a little faster and gained on him with every step. Just as he reached the open cabin door, he tripped and fell flat.

Too close behind to stop, the bear tripped over him and went rolling into the cabin.

The man jumped up, closed the cabin door and yelled to his friend inside, "You skin this one while I go and get another!"

Good to see you on here Michael. I met you with my brother and a couple friends in '05 or '06 when we had shared moose draws up that way before you moved... not sure if you remember the moose being towed out of the ditch and my friend riding it...

Well I'll give you a little more background on this young man. At the tender age of 11 he has 9 years of outdoor experience under his belt. He has been involved in 36 successful hunts including 13 bears, 11 deer, 6 moose and 6 elk. He has also taken 2 bears, 2 deer (1 with his bow) and and elk himself. He has caught salmon, halibut, char, rainbows, kokanee and sturgeon. he is a very accomplished competition archer with close to a dozen national championships under his belt. Even as his father I find it rather mind boggling the amount he has packed into his first 11 years. His drive, patience and work ethic when it comes to his hunting, fishing and archery is truly inspiring to me and I'm sure he will only push me more and more as I get older and older! Here's a few pics from over the years

Thanks for giving the boy such a warm welcome! He has has the good fortune to hunt and fish with probably a dozen members of HBC and has enjoyed hunting/fishing with each and every one of them. He is such a sponge for outdoor knowledge that being a member on here can only help him with his future outdoor adventures, and you never know, he may just be able to provide us all with some good advice himself!!
