Does anyone in south island have a 3D bear target with vitals or just a 3D bear target I could borrow?

Are you a member of the VFGPA?

Yes we have a numb of bears. Depending on what you want it for it might be possible to sign it out for a day or two. Check with the archery chair.

Will do, thank you. don't even need to sign it out for a day, just an hour or two to make sure I can hit the right spot in the vitals for bear before I go after a live one with my compound. I don't want to find myself in a position of wounding an animal. I couldn't handle myself if I didn't do everything in my power to make sure I make the best shot I can.

This might help you with shot placement. I'm surprised nobody has posted these pics yet.

Yea. Cause that second last shot placement picture is one that you would want to take with a bow. Drift it right in the shoulder with a gun maybe. But not a bow.

The 3d bear targets aren't life-size either. So, unless you plan on shooting a cub, I'd just make sure you are proficient enough to hit the bulls eye on a target in your comfortable shooting distance.
