Picked up a new garmin gps, I am thinking of getting the bc backroads map card. But am wondering if the garmin topo map program is better or worse? Thanks.

The BC Backroads is all I need and use, I have found many interesting lakes and other great geographic features that I had no idea exisited in familiar terriotry. I hear it has more info then the others but can't personally confirm that.

X2 for the Backroads. New edition was on sale cheaper thru their website. Carefull because some local shops were selling the old edition which needed an update. Get the sd card.

I have 9 copies of the new Backroads GPS on sale at $119.95 and would appreciate your business... free shipping in BC to HBC'ers. Oh and it comes with a free download for your computer too! Great deal!

I gotta agree with what everybody else said. I have an Oregon 450 with the BC Backroads SD card. Highly recommended! The deal The Hermit is offering is a great one.

Back roads map has more area info, but I think the garmin topo is more detailed.
