photos from shed hunt/bear hunt

I went for a hike in Blacktail country today looking for some sheds and any wildlife I could see. Figured I would look for a big blackie while I was hiking around. I did hear a few grouse calling and managed to get pretty close to a Sooty grouse and got a few good shots. It amazes me they are able to survive a day without being eaten by something. I got to within under 10 feet of this guy before he got nervous and took off. Later on I got turned around in some thick bush and was getting my bearings when I heard a bear huffing at me. I turned around a saw this Mom and cub about 30' away from me. She was acting pretty mellow so I took a few shots but it was too dark for my lens. Decided not to push my luck and kept moving.
Blacktail shed hunting is not as easy as I thought it would be. Deer signs and trails everywhere but no luck. Typical Blacktail day i guess.
