Butler Ridge

I have heard some people say good things about this area north of hudsons hope. Anyone familiar with the area know of any good spots to pitch 3 big wall tents? There is a small lake just east of the ridge not too far north, and I see road access into it, but is it a fairly busy spot or private land? Any other info or tips would be much appreciated.

I can probably let you know mid sept. As long as things go as planed i will be in that "area"

Sounds like you need to do a northern bc road trip to check all these spots out

Crawling with natural gas exploration, road construction, drilling rigs, work camps and pickups everywhere up and down the east side. It's probably the busiest place out of all your areas you are seeking tips for. It wouldn't be my first choice to travel a full day just to get there.

I hunted the butler ridge for a few years its not to bad for hunters if you get off the side roads and hunt on foot there are so many side roads everywhere that are not to busy with others..
