Stop buying MR packs and you'll soon be able to afford a bed rather than the mattress on the floor thing you've got going on there, and the ladies will think you're classy.

Love my badlands pack. Heavier than other day packs I have, but it is super comfortable, and can carry a ton of weight...

I'm going to guess 2 8 packs under the KD bulk box and a 26er in the side pocket?

Pain due to the weight or because you were using a J107?

Badlands 4500, pre sheep trip!
Curious if you were to down a ram with that Badlands would you have to make a second trip in to retrieve your gear or could you get it out all in one trip (assuming your not hunting solo)

Yet to kill a sheep too say for sure, but I bought the bag used and IIRC the guy packed one out with it, so I would say yes! Theres still quite a bit of room when I'm all loaded up for 8/9 days.
LOVE this picture, would be hanging on my wall if it was mine!

It's more like a packboard that has a sweet removable pack that rides with it.

While I realize, your saying thats a good way to get shot..... It was of no concern to us I assure you! Thick bush where we've never seen another person, a rainy foggy day, and 4 of us in a mule train you would of heard coming a half mile away!
We never took a step in open country all the way to the truck! We had no concerns!

Absolutely the sturdiest, most comfortable pack I'ver ever put on. Handles a heavy load of meat very nicely. ;)

Don't feel bad - my pack is actually just a big garbage bag tied to a stick and beefed up with some duct tape. The photos aren't nearly as cool as I made out. ;)
