With the possibility of a postal strike I sent an e-mail to Victoria asking "what if"

Just yesterday I got a nice note from them.


Hello,
There is not much we can do about any potential postal strike. The successful LEH authorizations are legal documents that you have to carry with you while hunting. That said, most hunts won’t start until September or even later so there is a lot of time to get any successful notifications to hunters. As a contingency plan, a duplicate copy of any successful LEH authorization can be picked up at any Service BC Centre in BC, of which there are many around. Langley doesn’t have one but there will likely be one on your way to any successful draw. So, everything should be fine and I expect no problems getting LEH authorizations to hunters, one way or another. Contact me again if you have any further questions.

I just got off the phone with the LEH folks, and they told me that they're having some difficulties with their computer system, and that they will have to get their computer tech to fix the issue. Apparently he is in training tomorrow, but will get the problem sorted-out on Wednesday, so they expect the results to be posted either Wednesday afternoon, or Thursday morning. Be patient everyone.

Unbelievable, I hit the jackpot this year! After several years of nil, I drew a Roosevelt Elk archery tag on Vancouver Island, an Ashnola california bighorn tag, a shared moose tag with my dad and brother in 3-27 and my second choice goat tag in the Kootenays. I just about had a heart attack when I checked my results this morning. Holy crap!!!! I'm going to have to quit my job to be able to hunt all these tags!
