This is my year for a good draw since my wife has blessed me with another week to go hunting since i finally retired from the Forces. Yippee 3 weeks.....or is that her saying yippee no husband for 3 weeks. Either way works for me. Although 1 LEH in 15 years should not deter my hope.

if you read the news paper that you pick your draws from does it not tell you all you need to know, just woundering,,

Add 1-2 weeks to the expected results date.

Did you find that in the synopsis? All I could find in it was that the draw was run on June 11 last year.

every year we go through the same thing...whens the LEH coming out, whens the draw date, whens the regs going to be released...same as every year mid to late june!

Wait til all the posts start coming in about people not getting their rejection letters (new this year, Government is not sending out the rejection letters). We should almost start a Poll and see how many such post come out:)

Basically, no news is bad news???

Even after I've checked online, I still get a sliver of hope as I open the envelope, just incase the computer was wrong......brings me a bit of satisfaction to swear, and rip it up every year!

This is the first year I've put in for griz and bison, apart from the usual moose, deer, elk ad nauseum... Hopin' for good news!! Although it is a long shot to get bison... I bet getting the bison draw is the easy part, it's the hunting in -30c and actually dealing with an animal on the ground in those conditions that will really test one's character!

Maybe we could make it a pool. $10 donation to the website gets you a guess, winner gets 50% of the proceeds, the website gets the other half.

I think its pretty funny that people bought an LEH and didnt look into it at all... I mean... seriously!

But, is the draw done yet... when do I get my results?!

Not for group hunts. If they aren't together in an envelope they will be entered as individuals

Thats right Kirb! Gone are the days when partner #1 from Chilliwack mails his card, and partner #2 from Dawson mails his card, and Partner #3 from Fernie mails in his card and parner #4 from 100 mile mails in his card all as a group hunt and the ministry has to correspond and enter them together......

Incorrect entries like first choice Mule deer code and second choice a Mountain goat code are no longer getting phone calls to sort out which species they are intending for the card and what areas etc. from what I understand

Glad to hear the ass wiping is starting to become a thing of the past.
