Just got back from a griz hunt ,1 griz and one black (I am sure Hammerhead will have story a and pics up soon) .My wife drew a griz in 7-18 so looking for any info about the area .Any info would be great as this was her second choice area and we have not been in the area before

well congrats trapman I am glad you two were successful on the grizz.What day did you guys get him?? we had to leave the next morning. :( Just curious if you got it close to where you were camped??

no down on yellow jacket ,had to use the quad with track to get by the snow and found him in a slide

coool well I am glad you guys connected ,I missed a wolf on the road at the slide in front of where you had parked ,burnt hair but not quite enough . :( My buddy is on his way back this weekend and my kid and I will be in his area .Dam work .LOL

I am not sure why you have a problem i just posted one in a furom post asking about gun boots on atv's. I put the picture on photobucket and copy image link and paste the link in here and it seems to work.

Looks like a dandy Griz from the small pic you posted looking forward to seeing more pictures from this bear you got as for a longer wright up of your journey.

Sorry about that ,we (trapman and hammerhead ) both have tags for 7-2 and my wife has a tag for 7-18

me and a bud are drawn there too, last i heard there was snow 8km after the cn railway bridge that crosses fraser. 7-18 is another 50 km up that road!!! thats the only way i know into 7-18 and it not lookin good :( .. i recieved that info a week or so ago. i have a family friend that has a cabin up that road, when i hear any more news i will pass it on.

I was up the walker on wednesday made it to about 40 kL .There was a big griz track on the river .The day befor we only got to 23KL then it rained about 10 inches over nite & the river came up 3 feet then droped again .I had trouble with my argo so was stuk with my truck .I glased the slides in 7-18 & thay are geting green. We looked at 24 blacks but dident find old long nails . Spent a week up there , there is still to mutch snow . give it a week

I drove in the pass lake road to 12km with the truck there was a guy coming out he said he got to pass lake with quad and chains so we turned around and went quading lol I might go out tomorrow or the day after to see again, I been going out every other day and it seems like 1km a day melts def not enough

would you think it would be better going June 6 till the 12 instead of next week
