aberdeen lake, goat mountain area

Where would the mule deer look to go in this area to find a summer feeding range. I saw deer on the goat mountain road last year in november, But where would they head to for the high summer feeding. Thanks

That's not their winter range yet, therefore, you should actually look for them during the summer in the same spot that you saw them in November up the Goat, or actually anywhere on the Aberdeen plateau. I like hunting there just due to the high likelyhood of coming across both Mulies and Whities.

I havent seen any whitetails out there, is there many out that way. I saw lots of whiteys in Harris creek last year. I thought it would be a bit high out there for their likings?

Oh their out there white tails are moving in thats why its our duty to go out there and bag a few (maybe a flat top) to help out the muley populations.
