Youth hunt

Ive been planning a youth hunt for sometime but was discouraged with the week previous the lack of greenery and sign in my stomping grounds. Paul aka Walker Bandit a good friend invited my group over to the island stay at his home and for us to run our hounds together to get these kids their first bear!

My kids unfortunately had to stay home with their busy lacrosse schedules,

Have run long tails for over 30 years but have never seen a blacky treed over my dogs .I grew up hunting in the dirt & broke my dogs to bear .I think this old dog needs to learn a new trick. it looks like fun .My old blue tick scout treed his last cat this winter .I hoped he would get his 100 cat but he made 102 . know this week I have to take him on his last walk in the bush.this is the hardest part of being a hounds man . he is 13 & Im gona miss him
