LegiOn,

Section 27 of the MBR lays out what a permitee can't do when scaring or killing migratory birds while protecting crops/property...The particular sub-section you quote states that while a permitee is attempting to either kill or scare birds off crops you can't shoot your firearm while being within 50 metres of a pond, canal, lake, river, irrigation ditch etc. Hope this helps!
