Region 8 spring bear

I'm a little pissed off at the fact that Region 8 is the only region that only allows hunting spring bear on private land. There are loads of bear around, so it really doesn't make much sense. Does anyone out there know why?

Re-read your regs. The "private land only" pertains to the Aug 1 - Aug 31 opening. Spring bear is open in region 8.

8-1 to 8-26 Private land Aug 1 to Aug 31 !!

Thanks Mountain man. (and everyone else who commented) I missed the "^" sign beside the note and just read it as an extension of the first part of the note with the "*".
