Goofy question, in the states we always had to attach the license to the carcass. I'm reading the regs and see I have to immediately cut my tag when kill an animal and keep proof of sex, but i don't see anywhere that tells me I need to attach it to the animal. Its my first year eligible to hunt in BC and want to make sure I'm compliant. What is the answer?

Simple answer- You do not need to attach any tag to an animal.

Don't listen to Dawg...you must either staple your tag or hot glue your tag to your animal.
For hot gluing you should bring a extension cord long enough to reach from your home to where you shoot your animal.

Awesome h&h :)

Perhaps you should explain what 'proof of sex' means :D

Dawg....after you shoot a animal...look down your pants for a reference.

If you have a "inny" its a female
If its a "outty" its a male

I would send you "proof of sex" but my wife made me delete all those pictures. Sad day, very sad.

Damn. Ive been doing it wrong.

I read that it meant your buddy had to have pics of you pleasuring your animal.

Whoops, is my face red.

Who's being sarcastic?? Tag to accompany the kill, not attached. Proof of sex left in tact, until inspected, dropped off at meat cutter or at your residence. Horns to accompany, but not needed to be attached, as long as secondary proof of sex is attached

There you go trying to mislead someone who just asked a simple question. Don't listen to 300 H&H Inelson, the proper procedure is to wad the cancelled tag into a ball and poke it up the animals butt using a ' Buttout tool" like a ramrod.
