Elk antler growth ??

Just a question oin antler growth.

I spotted three cow elk grazing in a field today so I pulled out the binoculars and watched them. After fifteen minutes another elk wondered out of some thick brush, to my delight it's a bull:-D After watching him for a while I counted two points on one side but could have been three (500-600yards away).
So...what can I expect to see in the fall hunting season??

No way to know now is it is a 4 point or a 8 point, if it was massive than you can expect bigger rack, unless it is not healthy

I saw an elk this past easter weekend-5point-still had both antlers from last year... Seen another elk which had nubs about 4" long...?
-I think theres a good chance if already has 2 points that he will be 5+...

This bull will probably be a 5 point and then again the bull might be a 6 point its a gues on anyones part ,I now one thing he sure is not going to be a 3 point come this Sept..

It was to far to tell if it had velvet.

I saw three young bulls on April 9 and they were all still packing from last year, no velvet all bone
