LEH moose 4-37 or 4-39E advice?

Anyone have any success in or advice for moose in 4-37 or 4-39E?

4-37 looks like grizz territory, but there's 28 authorizations there so maybe there's a decent population of moose. It also looks like terrible access, unless we boated in. Might be some elk there too.

4-39E has a number of moose authorizations too, but once again access looks tough.

Tough access and not a lot of moose anymore. Predation and moose population was reduced for the caribou. 4-39 is boat across then quad. 4-37 is probably a bit of a nightmare right now.

Yeah that's what i was fearing. Strange that the province wants to reduce moose population to help the caribou, rather than reduce wolf population.. Does the province have a program or incentives for people to trap wolves?

It's only the politicians that don't want to reduce the wolf population.

Yes, there was an incentive but just like every other attempt over the last 150 years incentives for trapping don't achieve objectives. Also, it isn't just wolves; in this case it's all predators.

4:37 is real thick...with trees
