hey fester we headed out the upper fraser little bit of green grass but still a bit of the white stuff . couple weeks and it will be good. i got a decent little blackie down the salmon last year in fall . lots of bruins out that way

Seen a nice sow with cubs out in Johnsons farm north of town tonight, on my way to work. Its getting closer to go-time :)

That sow and cubs at Johnson's farm seems to like the area. They've been there all week, and may be the same ones from last year. I was up the Salmon FSR this morning; saw 2 grouse, 2 rabbits, and one moose, no bears. Still lots of snow around and not much greenery. It should be better when I'm back from camp in 2 1/2 weeks. When I was coming out, a nice clean gm dually passed me going in, anyone on here?

I saw a young (2yrs) black bear on last Thursday. It was inside Manning Park, not sure if it was in MU 2-17 (the only legal area to hunt in the park) though.
