talked with our taxidermist today has gotten three spring grizz into the shop this week. am heading out on thursday for a few days. anyone else finding spring grizz? Still lots of snow up here but the bears are out.

I live in the Dawson Creek area and i seen one on April 5 on a lease road decent size also talked to another fellow I work with and he seen one 3 days ago also on a lease road, so I am thinking they will be out in full force in another week or so.

have a tag for 7-44 and heard today that another tag holder whacked an 8 1/2 footer saturday.

i went out 7-51 on the weekend. Still lots of snow in the trees and alot of the access. but the hills are bare. or should i say bear?
they are out.

Good luck Bridger and straight shooting...footprints in snow stand out a long ways...can help elimiante some spots pretty fast...look for the food no matter how sparse..da da..some slides havnt slidden so in these cases old open areas ..old slashes etc will get the most warmth and grass around singular trees or small stumps will be the first food..

Take lots of photos..

May 25th Im going for 6 days, hiking in to some sheep spots where Ive bumped into a couple of bruisers. Planning on taking a pile of video and pictures too.

went out 2 days ago and there is still allot of snow in my area 7-57 not much access going to try again on Sunday
