English Pointers at 2 weeks now

The pick of the litter pup that I put a deposit on is now 2 weeks old and I've only got another 6 weeks to wait for my English Pointer...

They are from Elhew bloodlines and the breeder is Doug at Montana Pointers who has been great to deal with and knows his pointers.

Our preference is a male, and we're looking at one of the four below (based on looks only at this point as its too early to tell anything else):

I'm a Springer man and admit to not knowing much about EPs BUT they are sure marked similar to ESS. I once read that "The most optomistic thing a hunter will ever do is to reach into a pile of squirming pups, pull one out and say this is going to be my gundog" sounds true to me. My theory all things being equal is pick the pup with the white ear(s) can't tell you why other than I think they look cool, but its always worked for me LOL GOOD LUCK and ENJOY
