hiyta all, i live on the queen charlottes,
what is that country nw of pg like around stuart lake etc. in all those cut blocks, and on the waters edge.etc. etc.
i am a low pressure bow hunter.- and would like to use my canoe to get around.
what sort of game is prolific in the area.

I have worked in the bush there for the last 10 years. Roads get a lot of pressure, especially near the reserves....you do not see the moose in cutblocks there as much as around PG mostly because many areas have a lot of forage ( red osier dogwood) in the mature timber.
Lots of swamp chains available for poking around in your canoe with zero pressure. Talk to me closer to the season and I can certainly help you out.
