Speckle Bellies

Have had a flock of about 50 Speckle Bellies flying over my house every morning now for about a week so low I could almost read band #s. Nice to see and hear.

I saw 3 flocks fly over my house yesterday but they were so high I'm not sure if they were specks or sand hill cranes, they kind of sound the same.

The ones that have been "Laughing" at me I could almost pluck out of the air with BBQ tongs.

big flock circled cowichan lake 3 times this weekend

Lots passing through Victoria last week. A good few hundred every evening would head to a roost not to far from home.
